The Techno Centre – Engineering (TCE) at the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences was established in 2000. This one-of-a-kind engineering consultancy seeks to bridge the gap between industry, academia, and research, and adopts a multidisciplinary approach to address the problems of the day. 

Envisioned as a platform that brings together diverse actors in a common pursuit, TCE connects organisations facing complex challenges with the academics and researchers equipped to solve them. 

TCE’s experienced engineers work closely with client organizations, leverage the sophisticated facilities of the university, and also tap into the wide network of subject-matter experts available on campus. In doing so, they develop solutions that are specific to industries and businesses, and that also address the broader concerns of society. 

The Techno Centre offers expertise in product design and development, business incubation and commercialization of technology. 

Over the years, TCE has done groundbreaking work in collaboration with businesses and government bodies (like DRDO, ISRO and the Indian Navy). It has worked across sectors like aerospace, railways, robotics, energy, farming, manufacturing, and automation, and has developed expertise in vehicle dynamics, aircraft system design, micro air vehicle design, energy systems design, big data modelling, machine learning and digital communication system design.
